Measuring tips

  • Measure width at the top, middle and bottom, and height at both sides. Use the smallest figure.
  • Between walls or tiles, leave a few millimetres either side for fitting.
  • Choosing screws & holes? Holes are drilled 50 mm in from each edge, so check there’s solid wall behind those points.

Can I order a mirror cut to any size?

Yes. Every mirror is cut to the exact width and height you enter, in millimetres, centimetres or inches.

Can I get an instant quote online?

Yes. Enter your size, then choose your mirror type, thickness, edging, backing and fixings in the quote builder. The price updates as you go, and the total includes UK delivery and VAT.

Should I choose 4 mm or 6 mm?

4 mm suits most smaller wall mirrors and mirrors going into a frame. 6 mm is stiffer and less prone to distortion, so it’s the better choice for bathrooms, large mirrors and full-height gym walls.

What does safety-backed mean?

A safety film is bonded to the back of the mirror so that, if it’s ever broken, the pieces stay held together instead of falling. It’s often required in gyms, studios, bathrooms and other public or busy spaces, and it also helps protect the silvering from moisture.

How should I fix my mirror to the wall?

Mirror glue is the safest, strongest and simplest option for most walls; allow one tube per square metre. Screws and holes suit mirrors up to 1 m², and if you need screws on a larger mirror, choose 6 mm. Add glue tubes or screws & holes when you order.

Which edges and finishes can I choose?

Edges come polished or with a 25mm bevel (5 mm grey is polished only). Mirrors come in silver, bronze or grey, with optional foil safety backing.

Yes. Choose delivery only, delivery and fitting, or a full measure-and-fit service. For fitting, add your postcode to your quote or get in touch and we’ll send you a fitting price.
